In 2001 I returned to New Zealand for the second time and spent a few months living at my grandfather's house in Nelson. While there I worked in a little shed in the garden out the back painting watercolours and oils for an exhibition in Wellington. Although it was a very small studio it was one of my favourite places to paint.
