A reworking of one of the NZ series paintings with a freer use of paint. In oil painting often the first layer of paint can appear flat and lacks the depth and body that comes from working in subsequent layers. I was in a period of constant discovery and learning.

Although there is no attempt to define anything the colours and movement echoes nature and suggests water, sky, sunshine, vegetation, air, movement, figures…
