Alongside the series of abstract paintings I did while at my grandfather's I did some paintings based on watercolour paintings by my uncle and my grandfather. This work and the following one were from small paintings by my grandfather and have colours reminiscent of the hills in Dunedin in south of New Zealand where he used to lived.
